Integrity audits are designed to limit cash pocketing by staff and to check on client’s staff compliance with corporate procedures -Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). In addition to the obvious benefits of enhancing both the bottom-line and customer satisfaction, this is considered as Control Self-Assessment Requirement for most chains and could be used as one of the KPIs too.
The Integrity audit concept is known to some as Cash Sale Test or Mystery Shopping and is meant to make sure that cash transactions at the various income generating outlets are properly handled and recorded. We prefer to use our introduced concept of Integrity Audit as we do this audit differently.
